Bralette Size Guide: Find Your Fit by Bust Measurement
Find your bralette size using bust measurement. Our size guide shows which size fits your bust in cm. No need for band or cup calculations.
To choose the right bralette size, measure your bust at the fullest part and find the row your measurement falls into on our underwear size chart. For example, a 90cm bust fits size M, 89cm fits M, and 105cm fits 2XL. The chart uses bust alone, not band or cup, so you do not need to calculate anything else.
How to measure your bust for a bralette
Use a soft measuring tape. Wrap it around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level and relaxed, not pulled tight. Stand straight with your arms relaxed and breathe normally. The tape should sit flat against your skin but not dig in. Write down the number in centimetres. That is your bust measurement. Do not add or subtract anything. Bralette sizing is simpler than bra sizing: you do not need an underbust measurement or a cup calculation. Just your bust.
Our bralette size chart: bust measurements in centimetres
Our underwear sizes run XS to 2XL. The full chart with bust, waist and hips is on the size guide page, but for bralettes the bust column is all you need. Here are the exact ranges:
| Size | Bust (cm) | Waist (cm) | Hips (cm) | |------|-----------|------------|-----------| | XS | 78-82 | 60-64 | 86-90 | | S | 83-87 | 65-69 | 91-95 | | M | 88-92 | 70-74 | 96-100 | | L | 93-97 | 75-79 | 101-105 | | XL | 98-103 | 80-85 | 106-111 | | 2XL | 104-110 | 86-92 | 112-118 |
If your bust measurement falls within a range, that size should fit. The size guide page also lists equivalent UK, US and EU sizes. You can see the current bralette styles in our TENCEL™ underwear and bras collection.
What if your bust measurement is between two sizes?
If your bust sits exactly between two rows, send us your measurements and we will tell you which size to take. Bralettes are made from TENCEL Modal, a fibre that has some stretch and moves with your body, so a size either side may work depending on how snug you like it. The smaller size gives a closer fit, the larger a looser one. We can help you decide.
Why bralette sizing is different from bra sizing
Bralettes do not have underwires, cups or a separate band size. That is why we size them by bust measurement alone. There is no need to measure your underbust or calculate cup letters. A 90cm bust is size M, whether your band would be 32 or 36 in a bra. This makes choosing a bralette straightforward: measure your bust, find your row, and pick that size. The same chart works for all our intimates, including briefs and thongs, though for those you also check waist and hips.
What our bralettes are made from
Our bralettes are made from TENCEL Modal, a fibre produced by Lenzing from wood pulp. It moves moisture off the skin faster than cotton and stays soft against it. The pieces are designed and made by hand in Bali, in small runs. Each product page lists the care instructions: hand wash or machine wash in cool water, no hot water for any of our fabrics. If you have questions about a specific bralette, just ask.
Common questions
My bust is 105cm, what size bralette?
105cm falls in the 2XL range (104-110cm). That is the size to choose. Check the product page to confirm 2XL is available for that style, as some pieces are made in selected sizes only.
I have an 89cm bust and 97cm hips, what size bralette am I?
For bralettes, only the bust measurement matters. 89cm is within the M range (88-92cm), so choose size M. Hips are not used for bralette sizing.
My bust is 90cm, what size bralette?
90cm is within the M range (88-92cm). Size M is the right fit.
How do bralettes fit compared to bras?
Bralettes are generally more relaxed and stretchy than wired bras. They should feel snug but not tight. If you are between sizes, the smaller size may give a closer fit and the larger a looser one. Our bralettes are made from TENCEL Modal which has a soft, flexible feel.
What if my bust is above 110cm?
For bust measurements above 110cm, please contact us with your measurements. We will tell you which size to take, or let you know if a style will not fit.
If you have a specific measurement you need help with, send it to us and we will tell you which size to take.
